about

We Searched For New Worlds is a small post-metal album with 5 full songs, and 4 ambient tracks. It is heavily influenced by the sounds of space and the many musicians who inspired me to pick up a guitar in the first place.

released March 30, 2016

All music was written, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Chuck Wilson over the period of a year and a half.

HUGE thanks to the following people. Without them this could have never happened.

Ken Banks
Retinwaav
Sacha Dunable
Jordan Eberhardt
And of course my wonderful fiance, who somehow puts up with my obsession of awful noises.

And another massive thanks to the following bands that inspired me to pick up a guitar or bass, learn how to play, and write my own music.

Isis
Pelican
Cloudkicker
Miroist
The Contortionist
Cult of Luna
